Whisky & Gin Distillatenlounge is - as the name already implies - a café specialized in Whisky & Gin (-tonics). At this moment our collection entails over 300 whiskies, some 120 gins and over 100 other types of distillates. On the whisky pages of our menu you will find many from Scotland and Ireland of course, but also from Japan, The Netherlands, Iceland, USA, Tasmania, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Canada, India, Belgium and many other origins. Today all over the world fine whisky is being produced that are definately worth trying. And you can do so at Whisky & Gin Breda! Our menu is available in the bar and constantly changing. Feedback from our guests helps us enormously in our ever lasting search for the finest and most interesting spirits.
This diversity also goes for our gins which we serve pure or mixed. Many Dutch, Scottish and English gins here, but also the more exotic spirits from South Africa for example, Japan, Spain, Colombia, Israel and Finland. Other spirits on our menu are grappa, cognac, armagnac, rum, brandy, beer brandy, jenever, genever, vodka, tequila, mezcal, aguardente, aquavit, absint and calvados.
We serve all high spirits by the glass or per 'flight'; a selection of 3 or 4 distillates for you to experience the differences in taste and origin. This is sort of a mini tasting which you can compile from the menu upon arrival. Our distillates are categorized by price and themes to help you choose. For you to have an indication: the price of a glass of whisky or gin starts at EUR 8,50. A whisky flight with 3 drams is available from EUR 18,00 and a 4 dram flight starts at EUR 25,00. We serve gin-tonic flights by 3 (€ 20,00) or 4 (€ 25,00) glasses.
Our menu also contains a limited selection of cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcohol beverages to suit guests who do not fancy high spirits. We also serve a small bite to pair with your beverage. Want more? Make a select from our sweet or salty side dishes. Not enough whisky? Then go for our Whisky Platter: Jim Beam's bourbon crisps, Brandt & Levie's Laphroaig sausage and whisky cheese with spreadable whisky.
